Job Advertisement: Operations Technician in Water and Sewage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main tasks will be to manage the operation and maintenance of water and sewage facilities, including the pipeline network. The position involves responsibility for monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of the mentioned facilities.

The tasks include operating treatment plants, pumping stations, and pipeline networks to ensure water quality and effective wastewater treatment, as well as regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of technical equipment.

Our water and sewage facilities are spread over a large geographical area, which requires work outside the base location.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues both within and outside the unit, such as engineers and other technical specialists. Since we work for the benefit of the community, the job also involves contact with customers, which requires good communication skills and flexibility.

The position also includes on-call duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or higher, preferably with a technical focus.
• Basic computer skills
• Driver's license B

It is advantageous if you have work experience in water and sewage or other experience that the employer deems relevant. You should also have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Start date by agreement, all our positions are preceded by a probationary period.
